The Ignite On Wheels Artistic Skating Club operates as part of our broader educational mission to advance roller skating as an art form and technical discipline.
Skaters in this program receive:
Exclusive Classes
Club members gain access to exclusive members-only classes that are focused on technique and various skill pathways.
Competition Opportunities
Club members can enter events and compete at local, regional, and potentially national competitions. Skaters who choose to compete may be asked to stay after the Tuesday class for rehearsal.
Support with Music, Costumes, Choreography & Prep
Skaters receive guidance on routine creation, attire selection, artistic interpretation, and competition readiness.
This program is designed for amateur athletes seeking focused training in a supportive, education-centered environment.
The Path Forward
How to become an Artistic Skating Amateur Athlete:

Master the Fundamentals ("The Basics")
Prior to starting this Competitive Track, skaters should master The Basics either through the IOW Skating Academy group class or via self-study. Skills to master:

For many of the drop-in classes you will get an email a hour before class with instructions on how to join the club if you decide you are interested. If you do not receive an email, just let us know and we will get you set up.
